| Domestic Competitions | |
| Senior fixtures are played from April to mid September each year. The 2nd XI fixtures are the reverse of 1st XI fixtures. The Open Age 3rd XI has been going since Season 2001 and fixtures are played on spare dates throughout the normal senior season. As a result of this, clubs have a certain amount of discretion to rearrange 3rd XI fixtures and it would be worthwhile phoning the home club to check before setting out to watch. | |
| Junior fixtures have a much shorter season and consequently return fixtures are not always played. The Under 18s play a league competition, the winners receiving the Whittaker Cup and also a knock-out competition for the Taylor Cup. Winners of the 'A' and 'B' Divisions at U15 and U13 levels play each other for a trophy. The winners of the U11 competition represent the League in the Lancashire Cricket Board competition run from the middle of July. The U9 competition is new for the 2010 season. | |
| Inter League Competitions | |
| The Central Lancashire League is involved in the Reader Inter League Knockout Competition at both Senior and Colts (Under 18) levels. | |
