| Bad weather at the end of the 2008 season thwarted efforts to arrange a play-off between Bury & Walsden for the B Division title and also the play-off between the winner of that match and Royton for the Edwin Kay Cup. Both matches will therefore be played at the start of season 2009. Walsden beat Bury on 24 April for the Watson Trophy. The play-off for the Edwin Kay Cup was postponed from 1 May 2009 due to bad weather. | |
