The Central Lancashire Cricket League
 
 
As champions of the 'A' Division, Werneth won the inaugural Oldham Evening Chronicle Cup, while Heywood won the 'B' Division and claimed the Rochdale Observer Trophy also in its first year. The play-off between the two Division champions for the Ashworth Cup was won by Heywood. Werneth received the Phil Brett Shield as runners up.
